I’m Thad Flowers, an Atlanta native and proud 20-year homeowner in District 7, and I’m passionate about serving people and strengthening community. Growing up here—from attending Sarah Smith and Sutton to becoming a Boy Scout with Troop 8—instilled in me a deep commitment to this district and a strong understanding of the priorities we share for its future.
Drawing from my experience in both public service and private-sector leadership, I’ve learned the value of collaboration, thoughtful budgeting, and neighborhood-centered solutions. My vision includes improving transportation and infrastructure, expanding our parks and greenspaces, enhancing public safety, and promoting responsible fiscal oversight.
